Miyagawa Choshun (宮川長春)

Choshun MIYAGAWA (the date of birth unknown, 1682 - December 18, 1752) was an ukiyo-e artist in the Edo period.

He was an ukiyo-e artist from Owari (Aichi Prefecture). His original drawings depicted prostitutes, red-light districts and the everyday life of the common people. While many ukiyo-e artists produced both woodblock prints and drawings, Choshun MIYAGAWA concentrated on drawings and did not take up woodblock prints in his entire life.
